Meet The Team
Charlie (Carlitos) Heins
Director of Operations.
Charlie has been working for Aldea Development since October 2010, and has worked every position and filled every organizational role on his way to becoming president and director in December 2020
Andrew Boyd
One of the original founders of Aldea Development.
Andrew has been with the company from day 1. He now sits on our Board as vice president and is co-owner of Aldea Coffee, a certified B Corp that works closely with Aldea Development.
Doug Heins
Secretary
State Farm Insurance agent located in Spring Lake, MI. He has supported Aldea Development from day 1. He was the first board member added from outside the organization.
Mike O'Leary
A recent addition to the board of directors, joining in late 2021, Mike is a longtime donor and supporter of Aldea Development. Recently retired, he worked in finance and sales.
Heather Farrell
Heather is the most recent addition to the Board of Directors, joining in 2022. She was a full-time employee of Aldea Development from 2012-2017. She has remained close to
the organization and still helps coordinate groups from the United States visiting Honduras operations.
